Barely Legal Bond
In a sudden belated rush to cash in on the Harry Potter
craze, the estate of James Bond creator Ian Fleming has commissioned
a series of young adult novels starring a teenaged Bond during his days
at the exclusive Brit private school, Eton. One novel, SilverFin, has
already been released in the U.K. and was apparently well-received from
a sales standpoint (if not by the Bond geeks). (A U.S. release is scheduled for May, 2005.)
